    i love this blog, and two funny things about this post:

    - it was posted on my birthday, and i live in new york!

    - that wall in the LCD soundsystem video is a gate on seventh avenue that has tiles painted from this little shop that used to let people paint their ceramics for certain prices. i pass there almost every day! its funny how some things symbolize the beauty of new york to tourists or strangers, but to a local new yorker, it symbolizes familiar, homey things!
